Thoughts and Encouragement

12-07-10  We go around complaining about our problems and spending half our time trying to figure out what we can do to solve them.  We do everything under the sun except the one thing we are told to do in the Word of God:  ask, that we may receive that our joy may be full.  (John 16:24)  ~Joyce Meyer in  If Not for the Grace of God.

12-01-10  It is hard to hide the heart from the mouth.  ~Mom

11-30-10  My dream is to live in a world where there are no baths.  ~Spud

11-21-10  Life is a gift.  ~Mom

11-19-10  Perfectionism  to the point of frustration often finds its roots when product is stressed over process.  In the teaching of animals and children it is important to praise along the path getting to the end product, and focus on that path, not pushing, but taking the time necessary to get there, while allowing imperfection during practice.  Unless process is stressed over product, many children and animals give up before ever starting, fearing failure.  It is a rare animal or person that can do something 100% correct the first time.  ~Mom

11-18-10  Follow the way of love....... ~I Corinthians 14:1

11-17-10  My duty in life is to watch over and comfort Mom.  ~Spud

11-16-10  Every day, I have a choice to make.  I can choose to be miserable because of the situation I'm in.  But, I refuse that choice.  Why would I want to feel sorry for myself and make those around me miserable too?   ~Jim Trigg

11-15-10  We can't change our circumstances, but we can change our reactions to them.  ~Mom

10-10  Can you say this 6 times real fast?  Pretty puppies ponder particular pungent poopy piles.  ~Spud
